The Company

Pogliano BusBar S.r.l. is a leading European manufacturer of low-voltage busbar trunking systems.

The company was founded in 1926. Its nearly eighty years make it a benchmark of tradition and innovation in the electrical field. In 1943 it introduced the first busbar trunking system in Europe (Blindosbarra®) and since then it was again number one in the introduction of:

• ventilated systems (in the 1950's)
• aluminium alloy busbars, zinc-plated, copper-plated and silver-plated throughout their lengths (in the 1960's)
• sandwich-type systems with a single-bolt joint (in the 1970's, 25 years ahead of all European competitors)
• high protection degrees assured by the manufacturer and not by installation devices (in the 1980's)
• computerization of engineering and calculation programs prepared by our staff (in the 1990's)
• Busbar trunking systems with bus technology - Blindobus® (2000)

Pogliano Busbar trunking systems in the world are more than 15,000, with a linear development of over 20,000 kilometers (more than half the world's circumference measured at the Equator!).
